Moo Moo Meadows is from the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart Wii and the Shell Cup in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. One of my favorite courses for the music, and worst nightmare in other ways as expressed in the video. 😅
I really used to be so terrible at Mario Kart even though I still bought the game every generation of the consoles I had, until I had an opportunity to watch this tournament once in Vegas. And then 🤯, suddenly enlightened and realized how to play it. (after being bad at it for more than 10 years 😅)

Compare to the previous cover on the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Korok Forest, the "home-improvised percussion section" this time has significantly expanded. We are including not only food containers, but kitchen tools, furniture, a hardcover notebook(multiple sides of it, too), and my house keys. Yes, my city is quarantined, have to make due with whatever available at home. 🤣
And to share a little bit of my Animal Crossing love, Spork and Lily were my original neighbors(like when the game first starts) of my very first Animal Crossing game. Throughout my play, they have remained my favorite neighbors and I did everything I can to never let them leave my town. (ok that might sound a bit obsessive... but if you play, you know what I mean...😅) I hope I will also get to be neighbors with them in New Horizons some time.

This is my own arrangement of the music to the Korok Forest. I arranged it for two violins, two violas, and the "percussion section" of a box of tea leaves and a tube of vitamin C tablets. 😅 Yes, because of the quarantine, have to make due with whatever is available at home. So I woke up that morning, shook and beat everything around the apartment to find the right sound. 😂

My original humorous cover of the title theme to one of my favorite games, Horizon Zero Dawn. (It's also called Aloy's Theme in the original soundtrack) It's arranged for 2 violins, 2 violas, and a percussion section of tea can, noodle storage container, pillow, shampoo bottle, mobile desk, pill bottle, tube of vitamins and a can of Japanese rice cracker mix . 🤣🤣🤣
This is the hardest arrangement I've done so far in terms of finding the right sound, since it requires the "imagination" of the percussion instrument sounds I look for around my apartment after matching with the right reverberation in editing. (as you can imagine, the sound of hitting a pillow wouldn't have reverb, nor the mobile desk, but they were the right "pitch and articulation" for the job 😅)

The song "Sweden" by C418 from Minecraft, arranged for 3 violins and 3 violas. This video was commissioned by Project: Music Heals Us which was recently written up by the New York Times for their wonderful cause of bringing LIVE music performances to the front-line healthcare workers and patients of COVID-19.
The two directors of Project: Music Heals Us are old friends of mine. When they came to me with this commission, I thought Sweden from Minecraft would be a perfect one to bring people comfort and strength, not only because of the beauty of the music, but also especially if they have personally played Minecraft.
I believe Minecraft is a game that many of us hold in a very special place in our hearts. It's a game where people create, build, and express; a game that people share a lot of memories with their loved ones; and it's a game that has carried people through lots of hard times, fun times, and have kept them company no matter what life throws at you.

It is a really touching moment in the game. After you complete all of Kass' shrine quests. You can find him awaiting you in Rito Village, to share with you his teacher's story and the song he passed down to him. And this is the song he plays for you, the final song from Kass. I've included the lyrics along the song in the video.

This is my own arrangement of the music to Tarrey Town, for 2 violins and 2 violas. I used a trick to extend the register of one of the violas to be able to give justice to one of my favorite elements of this music - the trombone solos that represent the Goron people. All that have played Breath of the Wild know the charming storyline of Tarrey Town. There's one amazing detail about this music that you might already have noticed or will discover from my video is the fact that the music progresses as your story progresses. This video will elaborate on which material in the music represents which addition to your Tarrey Town.
